Welcome to 4-season Paradise Valley! Imagine beautiful mountain vistas from a 'clean as a whistle’ cabin. After an adventure-filled day of exploring Yellowstone National Park or other nearby destinations, you will relax in our wildlife themed (inside and out) vacation cabin. Watch for deer, coyotes and antelope on the hills and take a casual stroll to 8 Mile Creek. Inside, watch for moose, bighorn sheep and bison (pictures of course).
At night, the stars put on a spectacular show. Bring your wine and astronomy charts. Cabin time here means sharing memories with each other, family or friends. It also means a barbecue - with patio set and four chairs. The kitchen is stocked. Electric stove with full-sized oven, separate microwave, large refrigerator with top freezer, toaster. Lots of spices including sugar, coffee and hot chocolate as well as popcorn.
Sleeping arrangement: Large private bedroom has a queen-size bed and huge closet. The living room has a recliner and a couch that folds out into a queen size sleeper.
Our vacation getaway is a newer cabin/barn (second floor is the cabin - the barn never housed animals). The cabin has many surprises. The first floor is used as our library and office, but no one is there if we have guests upstairs. We are located in the upper Yellowstone river basin (with numerous hiking trails), 19 miles from Livingston.
Booking directly with the owner has many advantages. We (Melody and Gene) are eager to answer any questions you may have and we will respect your privacy. Our home is 150 yards away, so if you want to say hi and talk to a couple of savvy tour guides, we are here for you.
This is Yellowstone National Park country. The NW Park entrance (and Roosevelt Arch) is a 30 minute drive south. See bear, bison, eagles, possibly wolves, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, coyotes, and maybe moose. Our location has you close to many popular MT attractions: Lewis and Clark caverns; Chico Hot Springs 5-star restaurant which hosts various local bands; Absaroka/Beartooth mountain range; horse riding; grizzly & wolf habitat learning center.
The beautiful Gallatin River offers a fly fishermen adventure. The Yellowstone River, a short mile away, has some of the best fishing for rainbow trout, not to mention great rafting or tubing. Ask us about Antiquing, Scenic Drives, Rock Climbing
We think winter has lots to offer as well: dog sledding, snowmobiling top the list. In fact, the only way to visit Old Faithful and other Park interior attractions in the winter is by snowmobile or snow coach. What a great time to cross country ski and snowshoe through snowy landscapes.

My daughter, parents and myself stayed here as our base for Yellowstone. Melody and her husband gave us tips and 'must-sees' along with invitations to visit the creek on their property. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The convienience to Gardner and the entrance to Yellowstone, while still feeling private and wild, was perfect. We so enjoyed our time here, will recommend to others and stay again next time we are out west. We LOVED the entire experience. Tamara Pfund
This place was perfect for my personal retreat. Cozy and clean and comfortable. I wanted peace and quiet time to work on an art project. I got all that plus inspirational views. Thanks very much to Melody and Gene. It was so enjoyable. Penny Herbert
This is the perfect spot for a getaway! The location is perfect for those visiting the park & is a straight shot to the North entrance of Yellowstone! The Cabin was very cozy, clean & comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. Most importantly, the views from the living area window were beautiful. Rachel Andriaccio
