Visit us any time of the year, our cozy gas fireplace will keep you warm and ready for year round adventure. The west entrance to Glacier National Park is 40 minutes from the cabin, so Lake McDonald (the most scenic lake in the park) is easily accessible.
Quick meal preparation and storage in the kitchenette is easy thanks to the refrigerator, cooktop (no oven), microwave, dishes, pots & pans, utensils, K-cup coffeemaker, and toaster. Maximize your “outside” time by grilling out and eating on your private front porch. Show off your gas BBQ skills.
Sleeping arrangement: Queen bed in the bedroom. American Leather sleeper sofa (queen size) in the living room.
Though our cabins are perfect for couples and small families; we also have 2 other (1 bedroom) cabins next door. 21 private wooded acres provide lots of privacy and deer & turkey sightings. If you need to stay connected, there is Wireless internet at the office.
Bring your summertime yard games and use our large yard.
Close to the cabin are two ski areas, Blacktail Mountain & Whitefish Mountain - snowmobilers will find plenty of uncrowded trails. Many guests visit during winter - on purpose! snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding, ice-fishing, mushing top their list of cool adventures - maybe a a whiskey tasting or two too.
Flathead Lake is the largest natural lake in the western US and that means watersports: Go sailing, boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing & swimming. Bring your boat, we have plenty of parking space. Downtown Bigfork is on the north end of the lake and is famous for its shops, galleries, and excellent restaurants.
Some events include Dragon Boat Races, Spartan Race, Crown of the Continent, Festival of the Arts, Christmas Parade, Fourth of July Parade, Huckleberry Festival and Festival of the Arts.
Your Bigfork cabin is surrounded by many lakes & trails! Locals Tip: Hiking Jewel Basin is a must. Like to golf? Eagle Bend Golf Course is minutes from your Bigfork cabin.
Part of your big sky journey to Glacier National Park should include a drive on the Going To The Sun Road -which bisects the park east and west, it’s spectacular! See glacial lakes, cedar forests in the lower valleys, and an alpine tundra.

There is a $75 fee if the cabin is left in an unacceptable state. Strict no-smoking, no pets policy: $500 for smoking violations, $200 for pet violations. Since we have so much wildlife, children must be at least 6 years old. Add 8% Montana Accommodation Tax.
To book it: 50% deposit is required. No refund for no-shows. There is a $20 cancellation fee if you cancel your trip over 14 days. Deposit is kept if the cancellation is within 14 days of check-in.

The owners are Bill and Dorenda Kramp. We have recently move to Montana from Alaska. We ran a small Bed and Breakfast up there. We live on the property in our "Barndominium" with our dog Bud.
