A rustic creekside log cabin in Bozeman is just what you need! You’re going to love the surrounding outdoors from the extra large balcony that has a grill & patio set. Did you know? One of the top fly fishing destinations is The Gallatin River. Got the itch to catch Brown trout, Rainbow trout, or the occasional Cutthroat trout? Gallatin River is a bucket list place to fish.
We have your basics covered. Kitchenette has a microwave, mini-fridge, half range, toaster, tea kettle, coffeemaker with 3 filter pods, pots and pans. We do not stock spices or food items. We supply shampoo, hair dryer, extra pillows and blankets, towels, bed sheets, soap, and toilet paper.
Sleeping arrangement: The main room has a queen-size bed, sofa bed, and kids loft with foam pad bed.
Nightly cabin rental available Mid May- September.
Gallatin River Hideaway is an “unplugged property” ….there is no wifi (although cell service is great) and there are no televisions.
No smoking.
No Pets.
Your cabin time along the creekside is “Distinctly Montana,.” Filled with wilderness, cottonwoods & aspens, and water. Gallatin River Hideaway is located near the Gallatin River. Our 88 acres has been developed into 2 very unique venues for weddings, receptions, corporate events or reunions. Down the road from these venues are our 5 cabins on the creek and 3 real treehouses featured in Distinctly Montana.
Creek Side Cabin 1 at Gallatin River Hideaway is just seven miles from the historic downtown area of Bozeman, MT. Explore the unique gift shops, enjoy the quaint local restaurants, or soak your troubles away in natural hot springs just a half mile out of town.
This picturesque Montana cabin resort is also conveniently located for visits to some of our most famous attractions, such as Yellowstone Nation Park located 88 mile upriver from the property. We encourage you to make a day of visiting the park and enjoy the scenic drive along Gallatin Canyon!

If you will arrive after dark, please notify me (Cyndy) at 406-539-8413 so I can have the light on for you. You will self check-in with lockbox. There is no wifi or TV, but good cell service.
Security Deposit - if there is any damage to MooseTracks, you may be charged up to $100. Cancellations 7 days before check-in means no refund. 50% refund, minus the service fee if cancelled 48 hours after confirmation.

My husband (Toby) and I (Cyndy) retired from a career in retail upper management after 34 years and landed on the breathtaking pierce of property in western Montana that became Gallatin River Hideaway. Serving as an event venue with lodging, we have the privilege of hosting people on the most important or fun day of their lives.
Toby and I live in one of our treehouses during the winter months. We love our community in Bozeman and are well-acquainted with its restaurants, shops and attractions. We are happy to give personalized recommendations for what to do and see. I also have my Cynthia Out West Studio Silversmith studio on the property. My one of a kind pieces are for sale at several galleries around Montana or can be purchased at my studio.
We love Montana and are grateful to live in one of its most beautiful regions. Along with our guests and neighbors, we love to spend time on the river, kayaking and enjoying the outdoors.
