Reviews

We just recently returned from a vacation trip to Glacier National Park and spent 3 nights staying in the Wolf Cabin at Glaciers Mountain Resort. I can highly recommend it as a perfect home base for your visit to the park! The host Jo-Ann was wonderful and I recommend contacting her before your trip - she is a great resource for information about the park and your trip there. We came on Amtrak and she was even willing to pick us up at the station, despite the chance of the train arriving 3 hours late at midnight. The cabin was incredibly clean and well stocked for everything you could need during your stay. The cabin was only 10 minutes way from the park entrance, so very convenient access to all the sights. We were greeted by very friendly deer as we arrived and our only regret was that we just missed seeing the bear and her cubs outside our cabin one night. There was no problem with train noise and the gas fireplace made the cabin very cozy. It was a wonderful place to stay. As an aside, we recommend the Glacier Highland Restaurant for their huckleberry pancakes and french toast - the best ever. Jeanne S. Wisconsin
